Beking: Striding Towards a Century-Old/Century-Long Enterprise
1994—

Two generations of entrepreneurs pursue shared century-old enterprise dream.
A German bicycle has been passed down in the family of Chen for 3 generations, and it remains in good condition after decades. This has greatly struck the two generations of entrepreneurs of Beking, and made them determined to produce fine quality furniture that can be passed down over years and become a competitive century-old brand in the long run.
In 1987, Mr. Chen Ping, a grade VIII carpenter, founded "Beking Woodenware Factory" in Harbin, China, marking the beginning of Beking's entrepreneurial adventure. In 1994, Beking Furniture Factory was officially inaugurated. In 2001, Mr. Chen Xiaotai took over as the president of Beking Furniture from his father, Mr. Chen Ping. In 2008, Beking Industrial Park in Shunyi was inaugurated to became a designated destination for the Beijing Shunyi Industrial Tourism program, with a mega modernized furniture plant put into use. In 2016, the famous German designer Martin (a 40-times Red Dot Design Award winner) was contracted to pioneer a new premium originally designed product collection - Beking x Martin. In 2019, Beking's Smart Manufacturing Factory in Wen'an was inaugurated to fulfill corporate environmental responsibility, with its furniture plant relocated away from Beijing. In 2020, Beking x Martin products won the "Red Dot Design Award for the Best Design". In 2022, the 1,200 sqm Beking flagship store started operation in Shenzhen to market its whole home system solution integrating original designs, imported products, high-quality customized products, and whole-house intelligence.
In 2023, Beking will remain committed to moving towards its goal of becoming a century-old enterprise!
